FPC Status Reports

Privacy policy

Last updated November 5, 2026

FPC Status Reports (fpc.duet.rocks) is a small, private, invite-only tool that turns building-permit review reports from the DC Department of Buildings into a status email. This page explains what it stores and why.

What it stores

  • From your Google account: your email address, name and profile picture, used only to sign you in and check that you've been invited. The tool doesn't access your Gmail, Drive, contacts or any other Google data.
  • Invitations: the email addresses of people who are allowed to sign in, who added each one, and when.

Report files and project details are never stored. The reports you open, and the permit numbers, addresses and dates you enter, are processed in your own browser. They aren't uploaded to the server or saved anywhere, and they're gone when you close or reset the page.

A sign-in cookie keeps you signed in for up to 14 days. There are no ads, analytics or tracking tools, and nothing is sold or shared.

Where it's kept

The website is hosted by Vercel, and the invitation list is stored with Upstash, both in the United States. Sign-in uses Google. Data is encrypted in transit.

Deleting your data

Any signed-in user can remove anyone from the invitation list, which deletes their entry. To be removed, ask the person who invited you.

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change too.
